Big bounce back game for the Pilots tonight. The Pilots have lost 3 in a row and 5 out of the last 6 WCC games. They need a life raft, and the Tigers will be closest thing they see to an easy win in a while (next two games will be against St. Mary's and the Zags). The Tigers always play the Pilot's tough, have had recent impressive performances against San Diego (win) and St. Mary's (almost won). Just saw the line of -8.5 points favoring the Pilots tonight. While not the most talented in the post, the Tiger's will definitely have a few bigs to send at the Pilots (Sami Eleraky is 7'0'' and Gabriel Aguirre is 6'10''). The Pilots seem to be completely healthy now with leading scorer Kevin Bailey and starter Bryce Pressley back in the fold, but Reveno may shift the lineup as he has done the last couple of games if things start bad. Bailey had a strong shooting performance last Saturday against Pepperdine and hopefully that's a sign of his shoots dropping after up and down play since his injury, his play seems to either invigorate or kill the Pilot's momentum on the court. Reveno is going with whoever will give him anything off the bench so no one will be safe tonight from the bench. I think the Pilots are the better team tonight (and every night)and will most likely win but I think 8.5 points is to many to lay after their recent struggles. Take Pacific and the points but cross your fingers that the Pilots get their chemistry issues solved. Also, it's NEON night in Portland so factor that in?!?!?
Pilots Courtside bet: Pacific +8.5
(Season record on Courtside Bets 6-7-2) (3-2-2 on my WCC picks)
