David Carr in rehab, again...

By Wally Jeter

The Pilots have just announced that backup PG David Carr will not be playing in the upcoming 2014-2015 season due to a torn ACL (left knee). The injury happened during on-court Summer workouts. When Alec Wintering went down at the end of last season, Carr stepped in playing some nights more than 30 minutes a game. Pilots will need someone to step up and take some of those extra minutes. Bryce Pressley has also done some time at the point to various degrees of success.

Carr also missed a substantial amount of games in 2013 due to tearing the ACL in his right knee. The press release by the Pilots did not shine any light on if Carr would red shirt this season or if he would move on from the program.

Aitor, D'Marques Tyson & Max Livingston if you are reading this (and of course you are): start working on your handles! There is playing time to be had here.
